Adrenaline Ushers! October 2 1993, Bungee Jumping, West Ruuslip, London, Young Ushers. It was a day that their mothers laid a telephone vigil waiting for the phone to ring and pray that their kids are all right. Of course they were...well almost. This fundraising event were done by Young Usher Group as well as some of their friends and partners taking the plunge, bounce and shoot up 200 feet up in the air like elastic. Emma Hancock was the first bravado to jump although it did take her a while up there trying to pluck the courage to jump! (well, wouldn’t we?). The jump raised £1,200 to cover the costs for the Young Usher Group’s Weekend Away at end of October (see next episode). The highlight? The adrenaline rush! AAARRRGGGHHHH...! |
