Usher syndrome

Usher and deafblind people can be quite smart! They're always looking for ways of getting round problems to achieve the best possible access to their needs.

  • I'm frustrated by the difficulty of not being able to follow the action in films or TV programmes with subtitles. Is there a better way of seeing the action properly?
    There is a way! Both
Wiki and imdb has plot summaries / synopses written by people. Type in the name of a film or programme in their search fields and then read (or print out) the plot synopses FIRST before seeing the film / programme. Yes, you would have to know all the plot twists and what happens in the end, but you'll be able to follow the action better as a result. Have a try!
